The Purpose Of Man
One of the chief purposes of man is to carry the
will of God on earth. Every creation of God does perfectly the work it was
ordained for. Angels execute Gods will in Heaven, while the sun, the moon and
the host of other creations work harmoniously in executing the task, it was
appointed for. Likewise mans primary and foremost objective is to do the will
of God in his life time. It is often said that, without God we cannot and
without us He will not.
In doing the
will of God, man is not alone. Man as a tripartite being is the only creation
who can give room to the Holy Spirit to execute the plans that emerge from the
throne of God. The plan of God in one's life remains oblivious until and unless
the person comes to know God personally. The realization of His will follows
after ones encounter with God. God first reveals Himself to us before He
reveals His plan to us. Amos 3:7 declares that surely the Lord God does nothing
without revealing His secrets to His servants, the prophets. We can learn from
the characters in the Bible that our God is a communicating God. He desires to
make known His will for our lives.
Seek God's will and you will find it.
